The El Camino Real Royals (Woodland Hills, CA) basketball felled the visiting Chatsworth Chancellors (Chatsworth, CA), 50-40 in Friday's league test.
The Royals (6-14) will now prepare for their test against Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA). The Highlanders go into the West Valley test with a 17-4 record. In their last test, Granada Hills Charter thwarted Cleveland (Reseda, CA), 63-43, in a league test.
The Chancellors now own a 12-11 record. They play next when they host Taft for a West Valley test on Monday, January 23. Chatsworth will encounter a Toreadors squad coming off a 60-53 league win over Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA). The Toreadors record now stands at 14-7.
