The Rosebud-Lott Cougars (Rosebud, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Chilton Pirates (Chilton, TX), 31-26 in Friday's league test.
The Cougars (6-18) will now prepare for their test against Meyer (Waco, TX). The Ravens go into the 2A Region III District 17 test with a 6-8 record.
The Pirates now own a 0-14 record. They play next when they host Bosqueville for a 2A Region III District 17 test on Tuesday, January 24. Chilton will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 69-28 league win over Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 20-7.
