Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Syracuse, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Syracuse Academy of Science Atoms (Syracuse, NY), 67-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Christian Brothers Academy upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Brothers host Bishop Ludden (Syracuse, NY) to play the Gaelic Knights in a Section 3 Liberty bout on Friday, January 27. The Gaelic Knights come into the bout with a record of 6-4.

Next up, the Atoms play the Henninger Black Knights (Syracuse, NY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Syracuse Academy of Science will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
