Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA), 65-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Salem upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA) to play the Titans in a River Ridge bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 3-14. Hidden Valley lost 63-19 in their recent league bout against Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA)

Next up, the Blue Demons play the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) in a River Ridge bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Christiansburg will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 66-46 league win over Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA).
