The Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets to 48 in the non-league victory on Friday.

The now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clear Lake for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS will battle a Lions team coming off a 65-23 non-league win over Hampton-Dumont (Hampton, IA). The Lions record now stands at 14-3.

The Cadets (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Algona (Algona, IA). The Bulldogs come into the North Central contest with a 13-5 record.
