Texas High School Basketball - Marshall overwhelmed by Clark

The Clark Cougars basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Marshall Rams to 26 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 22-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lee for a 6A Region IV District 28 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Clark will battle a Volunteers team coming off a 82-71 league loss to Brandeis (San Antonio, TX). The Volunteers record now stands at 10-19.

The Rams (15-16) will now prepare for their contest against Reagan (San Antonio, TX). The Rattlers come into the 6A Region IV District 28 contest with a 16-14 record. In their last contest, Reagan was routed by Clark (San Antonio, TX), 52-19, in a league contest.
