The Groveton Eagles (Groveton, NH) basketball nipped the visiting Colebrook Academy Mohawks (Colebrook, NH), 47-45 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Lin-Wood (Lincoln, NH). The Lumberjacks go into the Division IV test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Lin-Wood was tipped by Gorham (Gorham, NH), 60-19, in a league test.
The Mohawks now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Lin-Wood for a Division IV test on Friday, January 27.
