Simsbury Trojans (Simsbury, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Conard Red Wolves (West Hartford, CT), 44-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Simsbury upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY) to clash with the Plainsmen in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Plainsmen go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Shenendehowa won 74-32 in their recent league bout against Shaker (Latham, NY)

Next up, the Red Wolves clash with the Manchester Red Hawks (Manchester, CT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Conard will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Red Hawks go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 72-47 non-league loss to Edwin O. Smith (Storrs, CT).
