In Friday's league outing, the Williams Yellowjackets (Williams, CA) basketball squad felled the host CORE Butte Lynx (Chico, CA), by a margin of 39-25.
The Yellowjackets (3-10) will now prepare for their outing against Biggs (Biggs, CA). The Wolverines go into the Mid-Valley outing with a 10-9 record. In their last outing, Biggs thwarted Princeton (Princeton, CA), 49-4, in a non-league outing.
The Lynx now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hamilton for a Mid-Valley outing on Tuesday, January 24. CORE Butte will clash with a Braves squad coming off a 46-25 league win over Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA). The Braves record now stands at 10-7.
