In Friday's league outing, the Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) basketball squad felled the host Culver City Centaurs (Culver City, CA), by a margin of 69-54.
The Mustangs (15-7) will now prepare for their outing against Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA). The Panthers go into the Bay outing with a 12-9 record. In their last outing, Peninsula was beaten by Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA), 48-44, in a league outing.
The Centaurs now own a 19-4 record. They play next when they travel to Redondo Union for a Bay outing on Tuesday, January 24. Culver City will encounter a Sea Hawks squad coming off a 51-6 league win over Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA). The Sea Hawks record now stands at 11-10.
