The D'Iberville Warriors (D'Iberville, MS) basketball felled the visiting Pascagoula Panthers (Pascagoula, MS), 58-50 in Friday's league test.

The Warriors (18-5) will now prepare for their test against Long Beach (Long Beach, MS). The Bearcats go into the non-league test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Long Beach was beaten by West Harrison (Gulfport, MS), 34-31, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they host St. Martin for a 6A Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 24. Pascagoula will encounter a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 58-43 league loss to Ocean Springs (Ocean Springs, MS). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 14-8.
