The Jesup J-Hawks basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Dike-New Hartford Wolverines to 29 in the J-Hawks league victory on Friday.

The J-Hawks now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Marshall for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Jesup will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 57-34 league loss to BCLUW (Conrad, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-9.

Next up, the Wolverines clash with the Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Dike-New Hartford will attempt to upgrade on its 13-1 season record. The Norsemen go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 50-39 league win over Nevada (Nevada, IA).
