The Dime Box Longhorns basketball team (Dime Box, TX), was overwhelmed 46-25 in Friday's league battle with the visiting North Zulch Bulldogs (North Zulch, TX)
The Bulldogs now possess a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host McDade for a 1A Region IV District 29 battle on Tuesday, January 24. North Zulch will confront a team coming off a 48-25 league loss to Richards (Richards, TX). The record now stands at 8-10.
The Longhorns (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX). The Lions come into the 1A Region IV District 29 battle with a 11-12 record. In their last battle, Fayetteville trounced Buckholts (Buckholts, TX), 63-8, in a league battle.
