The Dobie Longhorns basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Pasadena Eagles to 14 in the Longhorns league victory on Friday.
The Longhorns now sport a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pasadena Memorial for a 6A Region III District 22 contest on Wednesday, January 25. Dobie will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 51-34 league win over South Houston (South Houston, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 15-12.
The Eagles (6-20) will now prepare for their contest against Deer Park (Deer Park, TX). The Deer come into the 6A Region III District 22 contest with a 23-3 record. In their last contest, Deer Park triumphed over Dobie (Houston, TX), 34-31, in a league contest.
