The E.D. White Cardinals basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Donaldsonville Tigers to 41 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berwick for a 3A District 8 contest on Wednesday, January 25. E.D. White will battle a Panthers team coming off a 46-27 non-league win over Loreauville (Loreauville, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-12.
The Tigers (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. James (St. James, LA). The Wildcats enter the 3A District 8 contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, St. James was defeated by Patterson (Patterson, LA), 56-54, in a league contest.
