Fans at Friday's league challenge between the East Thunderbirds (Cheyenne, WY) and the visiting South Bison (Cheyenne, WY), saw East's basketball squad wallop South by a tally of 59-26.

With the victory, East improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Central (Cheyenne, WY) to play the Indians in a 4A Southeast challenge on Friday, January 27. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Central lost 57-55 in their recent league challenge against Laramie (Laramie, WY)

Next up, the Bison play the Laramie Plainsmen (Laramie, WY) in a 4A Southeast challenge, on Thursday, January 26. South will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Plainsmen come into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 57-55 league win over Central (Cheyenne, WY).
