King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Eastside College Prep Panthers (East Palo Alto, CA), 50-19 in a league bout.

With the victory, King's Academy upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Mercy (Burlingame, CA) to play the Crusaders in a West Bay - Skyline bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Mercy lost 68-45 in their recent league bout against Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Castilleja Gators (Palo Alto, CA) in a West Bay - Skyline bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Eastside College Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Gators come into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 51-43 league loss to Notre Dame (San Jose, CA).
