Oregon High School Basketball - Elgin ripped by Nixyaawii Community

The Nixyaawii Community Eagles basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Elgin Huskies to 27 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Griswold for a 1A Old Oregon contest on Friday, January 27. Nixyaawii Community will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 51-18 league loss to Union (Union, OR). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-5.
The Huskies (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Echo (Echo, OR). The Cougars enter the 1A Old Oregon contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Echo triumphed over Union (Union, OR), 39-33, in a league contest.
