The Heppner Mustangs basketball team (Heppner, OR), was nudged 29-26 in Friday's league battle with the host Enterprise Outlaws (Enterprise, OR)
The Outlaws now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stanfield for a 2A Blue Mountain battle on Saturday, January 21. Enterprise will confront a Tigers team coming off a 62-14 league win over Grant Union (John Day, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 15-1.
The Mustangs (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Irrigon (Irrigon, OR). The Knights come into the 2A Blue Mountain battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Irrigon was nudged by Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR), 50-41, in a league battle.
