The Estancia Bears basketball team (Estancia, NM), was toppled 52-42 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Santa Rosa Lions (Santa Rosa, NM)
The Lions now possess a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pecos for a 2A District 6 battle on Thursday, January 26.
The Bears (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Native American Community Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles come into the 2A District 2 battle with a 5-12 record.
