The Kemp Yellowjackets basketball team (Kemp, TX), was toppled 42-26 in Friday's league battle with the host Eustace Bulldogs (Eustace, TX)
The Bulldogs now possess a 12-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scurry-Rosser for a 3A Region III District 18 battle on Tuesday, January 24. Eustace will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 45-35 league win over Blooming Grove (Blooming Grove, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-5.
The Yellowjackets (4-17) will now prepare for their battle against Palmer (Palmer, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region III District 18 battle with a 21-10 record. In their last battle, Palmer was toppled by Mildred (Corsicana, TX), 47-20, in a league battle.
