Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) and the visiting North Murray Mountaineers (Chatsworth, GA), saw Fannin County's basketball squad wallop North Murray by a tally of 66-31.

With the victory, Fannin County improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Elbert County (Elberton, GA) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 16-4. Elbert County lost 55-49 in their recent league challenge against Rabun County (Tiger, GA)

Next up, the Mountaineers confront the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) in a AA Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 27. North Murray will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record.
