The Lake Placid Dragons defeated the host Frostproof Bulldogs basketball team by a tally of 28-20 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Dragons now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Imagine School at North Port for a non-league battle on Monday, January 23. Lake Placid will confront a Sharks team coming off a 57-23 non-league loss to Gateway Charter (Fort Myers, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 5-13.

The Bulldogs (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Hardee (Wauchula, FL). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 3-12 record. In their last battle, Hardee was toppled by Fort Meade (Fort Meade, FL), 31-29, in a non-league battle.
