Unity Christian Knights (Orange City, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Gehlen Catholic Jays (Le Mars, IA), 66-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Unity Christian upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Sioux Center won 69-39 in their recent league bout against Okoboji (Milford, IA)

Next up, the Jays play the South O'Brien Wolverines (Paullina, IA) in a War Eagle bout, on Friday, January 27. Gehlen Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 0-15 record after their 62-31 non-league loss to Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA).
