In Friday's league match, the visiting Summertown Eagles basketball team scored a decisive 75-31 triumph over the Giles County Bobcats.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Lewis County Panthers (Hohenwald, TN) in a 2A District 10 match, on Tuesday, January 24. Summertown will attempt to move on its 16-5 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 2-12 record after their 90-30 league loss to Loretto (Loretto, TN).
