With the victory, Staunton upgrades its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly (New Berlin, IL) to play the Vipers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Vipers come into the bout with a record of 13-10. New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly won 54-37 in their recent non-league bout against Triopia/Virginia (Concord, IL)

Next up, the Miners play the Triad Knights (Troy, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Gillespie will attempt to upgrade on its 13-11 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 47-46 non-league loss to Waterloo (Waterloo, IL).
