Glide Wildcats (Glide, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Valley Knights (Grants Pass, OR), 41-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Glide improves its record to 3-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Cascade Christian (Medford, OR) to confront the Challengers in a 3A Far West challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Challengers come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Cascade Christian lost 45-33 in their recent league challenge against Coquille (Coquille, OR)

Next up, the Knights confront the Douglas Trojans (Winston, OR) in a 3A Far West challenge, on Saturday, January 21. North Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 40-36 league win over Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR).
