North Carolina High School Basketball - Spring Creek topped by Goldsboro

The Goldsboro Cougars basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Spring Creek Gators to 36 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern Wayne for a 2A Conference 8 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Goldsboro will battle a Warriors team coming off a 41-38 league win over North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 12-4.

The Gators (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Beddingfield (Wilson, NC). The Bruins come into the 2A Conference 8 contest with a 15-1 record. In their last contest, Beddingfield prevailed over Princeton (Princeton, NC), 68-36, in a league contest.
