Georgia High School Basketball - Hart County topples Oconee County

In Friday's league outing, the Hart County Bulldogs (Hartwell, GA) basketball squad beat the visiting Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA), by a margin of 50-41.
The Bulldogs (13-6) will now prepare for their outing against Franklin County (Carnesville, GA). The Lions go into the AAA Region 8 outing with a 6-13 record. In their last outing, Franklin County was beaten by Hebron Christian Academy (Dacula, GA), 79-30, in a league outing.
The Warriors now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Monroe Area for a AAA Region 8 outing on Tuesday, January 24. Oconee County will clash with a Purple Hurricanes squad coming off a 51-41 non-league loss to Morgan County (Madison, GA). The Purple Hurricanes record now stands at 9-10.
