Virginia High School Basketball - Washington-Liberty fells Herndon

Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA), 50-39 in a league bout.
With the win, Washington-Liberty upgrades its record to 6-11 on the season. The Generals travel to Yorktown (Arlington, VA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 2-12. Yorktown lost 44-43 in their recent league bout against Wakefield (Arlington, VA)
Next up, the Hornets play the Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA) in a District 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Herndon will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record.
