Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes (Whitefish Bay, WI), 68-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Homestead upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Highlanders host Kettle Moraine Lutheran (Jackson, WI) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Kettle Moraine Lutheran won 44-36 in their recent non-league bout against Slinger (Slinger, WI)

Next up, the Blue Dukes clash with the Hartford Orioles (Hartford, WI) in a North Shore bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Whitefish Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Orioles go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 74-66 league win over Cedarburg (Cedarburg, WI).
