Connecticut High School Basketball - Shepaug Valley can't hold off Housatonic-Wamogo

The Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers basketball team scored 27 points and restricted the host Shepaug Valley Spartans to 20 in the Mountaineers non-league victory on Friday.
The Mountaineers now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwestern Regional for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Housatonic-Wamogo will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 59-30 non-league win over Bunnell (Stratford, CT). The Highlanders record now stands at 11-1.
The Spartans (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wilby (Waterbury, CT). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Wilby was nudged by Wolcott (Wolcott, CT), 75-24, in a non-league contest.
