Texas High School Basketball - Incarnate Word Academy thwarted by St. Pius X

The Incarnate Word Academy Falcons basketball team (Houston, TX), was toppled 53-38 in Friday's league battle with the host St. Pius X Panthers (Houston, TX)

The Panthers now possess a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Village for a TAPPS 6A District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 24. St. Pius X will battle a Vikings team coming off a 63-55 non-league win over Kinkaid (Houston, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 17-11.

The Falcons (11-14) will now prepare for their contest against Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX). The Apaches enter the TAPPS 6A District 2 contest with a 23-8 record. In their last contest, Antonian Prep ran past Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX), 46-32, in a league contest.
