Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) and the host Port Barre Red Devils (Port Barre, LA), saw Iota's basketball squad knock off Port Barre by a count of 53-41.

With the victory, Iota upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Church Point (Church Point, LA) to play the Bears in a 3A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 16-8. Church Point lost 43-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Merryville (Merryville, LA)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Mamou Demons (Mamou, LA) in a 3A District 4 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Port Barre will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record.
