The Stillwater Ponies basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Irondale Knights to 43 in the Ponies non-league victory on Friday.
The Ponies now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mayo for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Stillwater will battle a Spartans team coming off a 64-53 non-league win over Winona (Winona, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 12-1.
The Knights (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Forest Lake (Forest Lake, MN). The Rangers come into the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Forest Lake prevailed over Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN), 82-51, in a league contest.
