Texas High School Basketball - Jasper fells Vidor

Jasper Bulldogs (Jasper, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Vidor Pirates (Vidor, TX), 69-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Jasper upgrades its record to 14-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Lumberton (Lumberton, TX) to clash with the Raiders in a 4A Region III District 19 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 11-14. Lumberton won 41-36 in their recent league bout against Vidor (Vidor, TX)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the West Orange-Stark Mustangs (Orange, TX) in a 4A Region III District 19 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Vidor will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 31-27 league win over Bridge City (Bridge City, TX).
