Georgia High School Basketball - Wilkinson County ripped by Johnson County

The Johnson County Trojans basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Wilkinson County Warriors to 25 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glascock County for a A D2 Region 5 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Johnson County will battle a Panthers team coming off a 45-29 league win over Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-8.

The Warriors (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Jasper County (Monticello, GA). The Hurricanes enter the non-league contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Jasper County was routed by Greene County (Greensboro, GA), 75-28, in a non-league contest.
