The Johnston Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Providence Country Day Knights to 28 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Times Squared Academy for a contest on Tuesday, January 24. Johnston will meet a Eagles team coming off a 48-13 league loss to Davies Career & Tech (Lincoln, RI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-8.

The Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hope (Providence, RI). The Blue Wave enter the Division 4 contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Hope was routed by Lincoln School (Providence, RI), 50-25, in a league contest.
