Sunset Bison (Dallas, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Kimball Knights (Dallas, TX), 26-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Sunset upgrades its record to 6-11 on the season. The Bison travel to White (Dallas, TX) to clash with the Longhorns in a 5A Region II District 11 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 15-5. White won 62-56 in their recent league bout against South Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Hillcrest Panthers (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 11 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Kimball will attempt to upgrade on its 1-20 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 57-25 league win over Molina (Dallas, TX).
