The Kingsley Stags (Kingsley, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Onekama Portagers (Onekama, MI), 66-27 in Friday's league test.
The Stags (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI). The Huskies go into the Northwest test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Benzie Central walloped Leland (Leland, MI), 48-45, in a league test.
The Portagers now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host St. Mary for a non-league test on Monday, January 23. Onekama will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 62-29 non-league win over Northern Michigan Christian (McBain, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 6-3.
