In Friday's league match, the host Lakeshore basketball team scored a tight 50-48 triumph over the Salmen Spartans.
In their next game, the face the Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 24. Lakeshore will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 6-9 record after their 46-34 non-league win over Port Allen (Port Allen, LA).
With the defeat, Salmen moves to 12-12 on the year. The Spartans travel to Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA) to face the Hawks in a 4A District 8 match on Tuesday, January 24. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 9-10.
