Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Union Bears (Appalachia, VA) and the visiting Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA), saw Union's basketball squad wallop Lee by a tally of 73-25.

With the victory, Union improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Central Wise (Norton, VA) to confront the Warriors in a Mountain challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 13-3. Central Wise won 66-39 in their recent league challenge against Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA)

Next up, the Generals confront the John Battle Trojans (Bristol, VA) in a Mountain challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Lee will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 52-47 non-league win over J.I. Burton (Norton, VA).
