San Domenico Panthers (San Anselmo, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Marin Academy Wildcats (San Rafael, CA), 40-25 in a league bout.

With the win, San Domenico upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Panthers host Urban (San Francisco, CA) to play the Blues in a Bay Counties - West bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Blues go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Urban lost 60-26 in their recent league bout against Marin Academy (San Rafael, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Lick-Wilmerding Tigers (San Francisco, CA) in a Bay Counties - West bout, on Monday, January 23. Marin Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 49-44 non-league loss to Priory (Portola Valley, CA).
