Mayer Lutheran Crusaders (Mayer, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN), 80-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mayer Lutheran upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN) to clash with the Red Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 26. The Red Hawks go into the bout with a record of 9-4.

Next up, the Wolverines clash with the Annandale Cardinals (Annandale, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Sibley East will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 60-54 non-league win over Eden Valley-Watkins (Eden Valley, MN).
