The Prosper Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Boyd Broncos to 35 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 14-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Little Elm for a 6A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Prosper will battle a Lobos team coming off a 58-39 league win over Guyer (Denton, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 22-5.

The Broncos (6-17) will now prepare for their contest against Allen (Allen, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region I District 5 contest with a 23-6 record. In their last contest, Allen triumphed over Braswell (Little Elm, TX), 35-33, in a league contest.
