Texas High School Basketball - Seguin ripped by Midlothian

The Midlothian Panthers basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Seguin Cougars to 38 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 12-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleburne for a 5A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Midlothian will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 47-22 league loss to Joshua (Joshua, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-16.
The Cougars (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Burleson (Burleson, TX). The Elks enter the 5A Region I District 8 contest with a 3-20 record. In their last contest, Burleson was routed by Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX), 57-7, in a league contest.
