Georgia High School Basketball - Stewart County ripped by Mitchell County

In Friday's league match, the visiting Mitchell County Eagles basketball team scored a decisive 62-13 triumph over the Stewart County Royal Knights .

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Calhoun County Cougars (Edison, GA) in a A D2 Region 1A match, on Tuesday, January 24. Mitchell County will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 11-6 record after their 43-25 non-league loss to Early County (Blakely, GA).

With the defeat, Stewart County moves to 1-12 on the year. The Royal knights travel to Terrell County (Dawson, GA) to meet the Greenwave in a A D2 Region 1A match on Tuesday, January 24. The Greenwave enter the match with a record of 8-11. Terrell County won 63-15 in their recent league match against Pataula Charter Academy (Edison, GA)
