The Mott Corsairs basketball team (Waterford, MI), was overwhelmed 54-15 in Friday's league battle with the host South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI)
The Lions now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walled Lake Central for a Lakes Valley battle on Tuesday, January 24. South Lyon will confront a Vikings team coming off a 32-15 league loss to Milford (Highland, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 5-7.
The Corsairs (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Warriors come into the Lakes Valley battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Walled Lake Western was overwhelmed by South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI), 50-40, in a league battle.
