California High School Basketball - Nevada Union winner over Oakmont

The Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) basketball felled the visiting Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA), 42-32 in Friday's league test.

The Miners (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Bruins go into the Foothill Valley test with a 20-2 record. In their last test, Ponderosa thwarted Lincoln (Lincoln, CA), 56-47, in a league test.

The Vikings now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Placer for a Foothill Valley test on Tuesday, January 24. Oakmont will encounter a Hillmen squad coming off a 46-44 league win over West Park (Roseville, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 10-11.
