In Friday's league outing, the North Edgecombe Warriors (Tarboro, NC) basketball squad felled the host Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC), by a margin of 43-28.

The Warriors (6-10) will now prepare for their outing against Warren County (Warrenton, NC). The Eagles go into the 1A Conference 9 outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Warren County was beaten by Vance County (Henderson, NC), 69-29, in a non-league outing.

The Tigers now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Rocky Mount Prep for a 1A Conference 9 outing on Tuesday, January 24. Wilson Prep will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 67-37 league loss to Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-7.
